

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Pearle and Anna (Keoune) Edwards, he lived in Brockton for many years before moving to Swansea over ten years ago.
A Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the state of Massachusetts via the Stoughton yard. He was a proud member of the Marine Corps League in Swansea. He enjoyed his daily Dunkin’ runs for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. His favorite times were spent smoking a cigar sitting in his garage known as his “man cave” with the wood stove burning.
He is survived by one daughter, Amie Marie Medeiros and her husband Michael of Swansea and two grandchildren, Joseph Paul Johnston of Swansea and Hannah Rose Badger of Fall River. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Boucher-Edwards and his two brothers Charles and John James Keoughan.
Private arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. In lieu of flowers contributions in his honor may be made to the D.A.V., New Bedford, Chapter 7, 19 Willis St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
