Sandra Paiva

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Oscar J.M. and Anita W. (Robinson) Gagnon, she lived in Fall River before moving to Somerset in 1969.

A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1961, she attended Bristol Community College and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. An avid reader, she loved to travel and spend time with her beloved dog Sammy.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Silva and her husband George of Swansea, Christine Paiva of KY; one son, Michael Paiva and his wife Rose of Fall River; two brothers, Joseph Gagnon and his wife Beth, Andrew Gagnon and his wife Pam; three sisters, Anita McGee, Christine Furtado and her husband Kevin, Maureen Vasconcellos all of Swansea; two grandchildren, Paige Silva and Michael Paiva and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Thomas Gagnon.
