Sara was genuine, kind, fun loving and truly a joy to know.
Not a day went by where she didn’t tell me a joke of some kind or share a laugh with me.
I am a better person for having known her and I will genuinely miss her.
My deepest sympathies to her family and friends, may you find comfort in your memories of her.

Tom and Margot, I was so sorry to read of Sara's passing. Almost every time I look at my "German boy", Franck, (English cocker), I remember Sara picking those small puppies up at Logan and dropping them off here in Somerset. Back when I showed Borzoi, Sara and I ran into each other at Westminster; she was walking a Dachshund and I tried to keep my Borzoi from being scared of it--go figure! We both had a good chuckle in the midst of hundreds of dogs and people. Please accept our most sincere condolences. Betsy, Bill and Franck

My mom ( Carol Hazen) and I are so Very sorry to hear of Sara’s passing. She was a bright light In our lives when my dad was battling Alzheimer’s. Her patience, empathy, understanding, and most of all, her humor, is what made her the perfect match for my father. Sara and my dad shared many stories and laughs together and we all are truly grateful for the time she spent with us.

Dear Margot and Tom, Ben, Valerie. Jon, Rebecca, Chris, Hunter and Asher and Alyssa, Garrett, Jenna , Seth, Ross, Graham, Noah, Jonna, — and extended family, babies and significant others,
I will forever hear Sarah’s booming laugh. She loved big. She adored her nieces and nephews. She always had an ear, a shoulder, or a soft landing pad for anyone in need of support-
No matter it being a 4 legged or 2 legged being. She was for the underdog. I see her at Elephant Rock - swimming strong and far- tanned, blonde, curls salty . Chasing her nieces and nephews, and laughing. Seeing her joy and strength in her body- what an athletic being -Soul alive . She marched to her own beat- and could bring down the house with her wit and humor, yet she was a sensitive soul. Sara, I am so grateful for you and I will cherish my memories I hold in my heart.
Much peace on your hearts Cottrell family and for all those who loved Sara- furry or otherwise. Peace on your soul Sara. Peace and Love Always, Lisa

Sara,
One of a kind: caring, loving and a friend to all.
I will never forget, during one of the gatherings in South Swansea,
Sara and I shared a beer in Aunt Louise's attic to avoid the crowd.
Surely, an example of heart to all and a fighter to the end.
