

Born in Redding, California, to Dolores (Leonardo) Mohler and the late James E. Mohler of Weeki Wachee, Florida, she was a graduate of Joseph Case High School, Class of 1981 and Blake Computer Programing Institute in East Providence .
Stacey worked for the defense contractors Syscon and Analysis and Technology, in the Trident Submarine program. After having children, she devoted her life to being a mother, a task in which she excelled. Later, she worked as a realtor for Country and Coastal properties of Little Compton, RI.
Stacey possessed diverse interests and enjoyed cooking, entertaining, and reading with her book club. A devoted mother, Stacey opened her home and made many feel like a part of the family. An active volunteer, Stacey gave many hours to sports and booster programs at her sons’ high school, Providence Country Day.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother: three sons: Scott, William and Samuel Douglass all of Rehoboth, a sister: Donna L. Huftalen of Rehoboth, three brothers: James A. Mohler and his wife Dianne of Rehoboth, Michael J. Mohler and his wife Yelena of Seekonk and Mark D. Mohler and his wife Erin of Spring Hill, FL, several nieces and nephews and one great nephew.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 9 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea followed by a funeral mass at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardners Neck Rd. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 6-9. Contributions in her honor may be made to HOPE Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601. Burial is private.
