Born in Kalamata, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Pericles and Vasiliki (Drougas) Kapsaliaris.
Prior to her retirement in 1999, Vina, along with her husband Stephen owned and operated Famous Pizza in Somerset for more than 25 years.
Vina, known for her pious nature, spent many years as an active member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. During her free time, she was an avid gardener and an amazing cook, specializing in authentic Greek foods. Above all, she adored her family and especially her grandchildren. She spent endless hours doting on them.
She is survived by her beloved children, John Conos and Maria Bushell and her husband Joseph all of Swansea; four grandchildren, Jack Bushell and his fiancé Demetra Tselengidis, Mikayla Bushell and Stephen and Sophia Conos; one sister, Ellie Koumantaris of New York, as well as several nieces and nephews. Vina was the sister of the late Jenny Yiannakopoulou and Theodore Kapsaliaris.
Her Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 289 N Main St, Fall River, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vina’s honor may be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
