

Willetta L. Carreiro, age 96 of Swansea and Sarasota, FL, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Charlton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Alfred Carreiro to whom she had been married for over 40 years.
Mrs. Carreiro was the former owner of Treasure Island in Alton, NH on Lake Winnipesaukee. An accomplished pilot out of Norwood Memorial Airport, Willetta piloted her Piper Cub plane from Florida to Lake Winnipesaukee where she also enjoyed waterskiing.
In addition to her husband of 40years, she is survived by a stepson: Dr. A. Keith Carreiro and his wife Carolyn of Swansea, grandchildren Eli Carreiro and his wife Laura and their son Jackson and Myriah L. Carreiro, Daphni Hamilton, Chelsea Snyder, Sage Hamilton, Shane Randall; a niece Barbara Jarabek of Sarasota, FL; grandnieces Jody Oliveira and her husband Curt and Cindy Audette all of Fall River; great grandnieces and nephews Curt Oliveira III, Tyler, Maxwell and Adeline Audette and AJ, Dylan, Olivia and Spencer Jarabek.
Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 10 to 11AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. A Private Funeral Service and Burial will follow. To send a tribute or for directions please visit: www.waring-sullivan.com
