

Born in Swansea, a son of the late William G. and Margaret (Lindsey) Gunther, he lived in Los Angeles, California for over sixty years.
A graduate of Joseph Case High School, class of 1947, he also graduated from Woodbury Jr. College. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Koran War as Corporal.
Mr. Gunther worked as an Agent for Pan American World Airways for many years before retiring in 1991. A member of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California, he also belonged to a German Club in the area. He was a world traveler and especially enjoyed cruises.
He is survived by one brother, Richard Gunther, one sister, Beverly Toppin both of Swansea, two nieces Sarah Lane, Amy Gribbel and her husband Andy and five great nieces and nephews. He was the brother-in-law of the late Nancy Gunther and James Toppin.
Private services are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Birchcrest, Swansea.
