Bessie Pardy

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Born in Sydney Mines on August 14, 1936 she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Forrest. Mom was a kind and quiet woman who loved visiting her sister-in-law to have a good cup of tea, chat and laugh. She so enjoyed her drives with her husband. She is survived by her husband Neil of 65 years. Her two children, Neil (Brenda) Pardy and Kathleen (Harvey) McRae, her three grandchildren Neil (Jeana) Pardy, Michelle Pardy (Kyle) and Randy (Amy) McRae, four great grandchildren Tristen and Seth Pardy, Jane Bessie and Dean McRae as well as sister Margaret Philpho, and brother Sidney Forrest. She is predeceased by siblings Angus, George, John, James, Elizabeth Tobin, Dorothy O’Connell and Catherine Herridge.

The family would like to express sincere thanks to Dr. Andrew Wawer, Dr. Alexis Wawer and 4th floor West nurses. Special thank you to Taylor Silbey in her final stages of her journey.
