

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, Betty (Elizabeth) Marilyn Moore who passed away on Thursday, July 10th at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born on April 23, 1942 in Springhill to Edward and Velma Millard.
Betty and her late husband Stanley, the love of her life, were happily married for 40 years. They retired in Sydney Mines. As a homemaker, her family and home were her pride and joy.
Betty was very athletic, playing softball, baseball and skating in her younger days. She remained a committed sports fan, especially of her beloved Blue Jays and golf. She was also a huge country music fan and even had the privilege of a trip to Nashville. She also volunteered her time with a number of community organizations.
Betty is survived by her sons Kevin and Tim (Jacqueline), daughters Bernadette (Peter) and Betty, grandchildren Amanda, Mitchel, Ian, Jesse, Josh, Ailish, Evan, Jordan, Jonathan and Jules as well as nieces and nephews, David, Bonnie and Cindy and so many more.
Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband Stanley, son James, siblings Gail, Ralph and Glen and one niece Marlene and nephew Stan.
