Innis is survived by his wife Helen of fifty seven years, daughters Rita (Keith) and Sonya (Anthony), and son Stephen (Johanna). He is also survived by his brothers Jackie and Travis, and sisters Bunny, Rhadie, Rychie and Angela. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Charlotte Budge, and sisters Marguerite and Colleen. Innis loved his grandchildren Bennett, Whitney, Meaghan, Matthew, Samuel, Mara, Charlotte, Innis, Isaac, and Gabe, and his great grandchildren Bellamy and Hazel.
Innis was retired from Victoria Co-op Fisheries, had been caretaker of the Neil's Harbour Lighthouse, and a lobster fisherman. He was a lifetime member of the Neil's Harbour-New Haven Fire Department and St. Andrew's Church. Innis was a pillar of the community, always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed a game of 45's and 63's, a good joke, and listening to Hank Williams.

The service will be held Tuesday, June 4 at 2:00 p.m.at St Andrew's Anglican Church in Neil's Harbour, officated by Rev Carolyn Sharpe. Reception to follow at the Parish Hall.
