We the family of the late Mary Ann (Steele) Boutilier, wish to announce her passing, on August 13, 2015, peacefully at home at the age of 94. Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of Christy Jane (Nicholson) and Hughie Steele.

Mary Ann was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by niece Theresa (Jimmie) Jessome, Elaine Gray, Mary Tower, Patsy (Archie), Annie Mae (Ronnie) and Christine. She will also be missed by many other great-nieces and great-nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Albert Boutilier, sisters; Sadie (Malcolm) MacAulay, Annie Steele, brothers; Johnnie (Marie), Heckie (Ruth), Donald and Neil.

Thank-you to the Northside Homemakers for their years of service and a special thank you to great nieces, Tammy and Mary, for being a friend and companion to Mary Ann all these years.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday August 18, 2015 from 10-11am in Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 10 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines. Funeral service will follow at 11am in the funeral home chapel.
