Simon Brewer, age 82, passed away August 10, 2015 at Highland Manor in Neil’s Harbour.
Born in Ingonish he was the son of the late Simon and Rachel (McGean) Brewer.
Simon was a retired fisherman who enjoyed many years on the ocean. He was a member of St. Peter’s church in Ingonish. Simon loved Newfoundland music and culture. He enjoyed a number of trips with friends to visit the province.
He is survived by his close friend Heather MacDougall.
Beside his parents he was predeceased by his sister Mary, and brother Fonse.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm & 7-9pm on Friday August 49, 2015, at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, Ingonish. A graveside service will be the following day at St. Peter’s Church Cemetery at 11:00am. Expressions of sympathy can be made by visiting www.fillmoreandwhitman.com
