Besides her parents, Aggie was predeceased by her loving husband, Patrick Matthews (Dartmouth); grandson, Robert (Sydney); her sisters Christine, Sadie, Effie, Jean; and her brothers Angus and John.
A sincere thank you is extended to the nurses and physicians at Palliative Care who provided support, care and compassion to her and her family.

Our sincere condolences going out to all the family at this very sad time. Aggie was an elegant lady, one who concealed her age without effort. Always looking and acting much younger than her birth certificate stated. Aggie was well versed and could easily blend in with various age groups and keep the conversation going well beyond the knowledge of the room. It was always a pleasure being in her company and we will miss the many laughs we had with her. Hugs and love going out to the many people feeling the pain of Aggie’s passing. Love Anita & Junior

My deepest condolences to Bill and family. I first met Agnes when we worked together in Halifax. She was a very special and caring lady who provided 'motherly' advice to me over the years. I will miss our chats.

I'm so very sorry to the whole family for your loss. Aggie was a lovely lady who told me wonderful stories about her life. Her house and garden in Dartmouth. ESPECIALLY her garden. And her pets. A true lady. R.I.P.
