Arthur Neil Pettipas

85 – Sydney

It is in deep sadness we announce the passing of our father, Arthur, on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the age of 85.

He was the son of the late Hubert and Phyllis Pettipas.

He is survived by his children, Allan, Patricia Walker, Deborah (Tom) Osborne, Kevin (Vanessa), Keith (Theresa), all of Sydney. Also surviving are sisters Mina Yurchesyn, Elaine Roach, Yvonne MacKinnon, Kay Morrison, all of Sydney; Ann Mae Stone, Dolores Gariepy, both of Ontario; Ethel Gillis, Halifax and Viny Burkey, L’Ardoise, along with 9 grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, David, Dana, Jeff, Daniel, Stacey, Colin and Cara and 2 great grandchildren Logan and Isabella.

Art was predeceased by his wife, the former Helen Lively, son Paul, brothers Gerard Pettipas and John McPhee, sister Lorraine McDonald and son-in-law Francis Walker

Art was a resident of the Cove Guest Home. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of Skylight.

There is no visitation for the late Mr. Pettipas. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 12 at 11 am at Holy Redeemer Church with Rev. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment in New Calvary Cemetery, Whitney Pier.
