Catherine Helen Ferguson

96 – Sydney

Catherine Helen Ferguson, 96 of Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, formerly of 15 Douglas Street, passed away peacefully Friday, February 17, 2012 at the residence.

Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (MacIsaac) Campbell.

She was a member of Sacred Heart parish and a 50 year member of the parish CWL.

She was predeceased by her husband Malcolm in 2000.

Catherine is survived by her daughter Mary (Terry) Moore; sons Norm (Dianne), Michael (Lois), Archie, all of Sydney, by her sister Anna Mae Fairweather, ON; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sisters Mary MacIntyre, Annie MacKenzie, Margaret MacDonald and brothers Archie, Danny, John ‘Husky’, Joe, Leo and Donald.

Visitation for the late Mrs. Ferguson will take place at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Anthony O’Connor officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
