Catherine "Kay" Elizabeth Ryan

The family are saddened with the passing of Catherine Elizabeth Ryan, 91 of Sydney, on March 16, 2024. Born in Donkin, NS, on November 11, 1932 she was the daughter of Dan Alex and Carrie (Wadden) McMullen.

She is survived by son Gregory of Sydney, with whom she resided, daughter Debbie (Ken Conrod) of Dartmouth and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Carl Gerald Ryan in 2010, siblings Hartland in infancy, Tommy, Jimmy, Margie, Gordie, Alfie and Donnie. She was also predeceased by Brother-in-law Don (Helen) Ryan, Thunder Bay, Ontario and Bernie (Sue) Ryan, Seattle, Washington.

By Catherine’s wishes she will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be at Hardwood Hills Cemetery at a later date.
