

Conrad was born October 28, 1953 in Caribou Maine to the late Percy Woodrow Paul of Membertou and Mary Agnes Francis-Joe of Malagawatch.
Conrad is survived by his children: Gordon Paul (New Hampshire) Candice Paul & Conrad Peck (Membertou); grandchildren Meaghan Paul (Membertou) and Emery Isadore (Wagmatcook). He's also survived by his siblings: Mary Agnes Paul-Elliott, Norman Francis, Nelson and Clarke Paul, his eldest nephew Paul Adams and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his son Sebastian Pierro, sisters Tina Joe, Marilyn Agnes Paul-Adams, Charlene and Carlene Paul, Brenda Paul and brother Percy Noel Paul.
Conrad attended Caribou High School, Bowdoin and Dartmouth Colleges, studying math and computers before moving back to Membertou in the 70's. He worked as a carpenter's helper during the construction of the old band office in Membertou, an employment counselor with Canada Employment & Immigration, as a radio host for the Micmac Magazine and the Micmac News. He was an avid chess player and very passionate about computers and spent much of his time doing both. He loved to read, argue and spend time with his closest friends.
The family would like to thank the staffs of the Membertou Health Centre & MacGillvary Guest Home, and the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for all their assistance with Conrad's care. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 4th at T.W. Curry's from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11am on Monday, January 5th at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 40 Cabot Street with Salité to follow at the Membertou Trade & Convention Centre.
