Diane M. MacNeil

Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of Margaret (Morrison) Tiller, Ashby and the late George Tiller.

Diane was a member of Holy Redeemer parish, Whitney Pier. Diane worked at Sydney River Superstore for many years where she touched many lives with her creative cake decorating.

Words alone cannot describe the beautiful wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend Diane was. She will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her and being her friend

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ron, her daughters Dawn Marie (Neil Bach), Dominion; Cindy (Adam MacKinnon), Sydney; her son R.J. (Melissa Christo), Brampton, ON; grandchildren Andrew, Brad, Kylie, Cassidy, Hannah, Donevan and Aubree Anne. Also surviving are sisters Linda (Brian) Burke, Port Hawkesbury, Ann (Fraser) MacKillop, Kingston, ON, Georgina (Mike Hamel), Brantford, ON; brothers Robert (Linda) Tiller, Brampton, ON, Donnie (Cindy) Tiller, Glace Bay and Tim (Cathy) Tiller, Kitchener, ON. .

Visitation for the late Diane MacNeil will take place on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 22 at 11 am at Holy Redeemer Church with Rev. Alex MacLellan officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
