We, the family of Douglas Power announce, with great sadness, his passing on February 3, 2025. He was the son of the late Isabel and Alberta Power. Doug grew up in the north end of Sydney, where he made many, many special friendships.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverley (Bonaparte), son Darren, daughters Ainsley (Lance), Courtney, sister Gail, brothers Jack (Linda), Ronnie (Mary), Kenny (Ann) and Eddie, father-in-law Greg Bonaparte, sisters-in-law Barb (Gerard), Phyllis (Clay), brothers-in-law David, Blair, Brent and many nieces and nephews.
Douglas was predeceased by his brother Martin, nephew Kevin and mother-in-law Christine.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1452 Kings Road, Sydney River.
