Edith Frances Walters

She leaves behind her husband Corson, daughters Kathleen (Scott Martell), Aimee Walters, Edith MacQuarrie and son Adam (Vanessa). Also left to mourn are her siblings Sylvia MacFarlane (late Joseph), Esther Giles (Bill), Christena Beaton (Charles) and a brother Bernie Beaton as well as six grandchildren and her very dear friend Hope MacLean.

Besides her parents Edie was predeceased by her godson Gregory MacFarlane, son-in-law Mickey McGillivary, step-son Corey Walters and special aunt Nina Iannetti.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you and much love to daughter Kathleen for all the love, care and support during Edie's long illness and sisters Christena and Esther for their help and support to the family.

Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday, July 25 at TW Curry Parkview Chapel, 755 George St., with a Funeral Mass at Holy Rosary Church in Westmount on Saturday, July 26 at 11:00am. Internment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney. Family flowers only, please. If desired, donations in Edie's memory may be made to Cancer Research.
