First and foremost, Edwin was a father to six beautiful children who meant the absolute world to him. They were his big loves and his greatest accomplishment in the short time that he was here.
Edwin’s other big love was fishing, where he was employed as a commercial fisherman with the Membertou Band and enjoyed life out on the ocean. Edwin loved playing hockey and started with Sydney Minor Hockey and continued playing regularly into adulthood with the Membertou Rangers. He was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Edwin’s ability to capture beautiful photos of the sunset as well as the best selfies are not compared. He knew how to make you laugh with his quick witand humour, as well as a smile and a wave for everyone he came across. Edwin will forever be missed by all those he knew and loved.
