It is with sadness we announce the passing of Betty, at home on Sunday, April 26, 2015.
Born in Sydney July 11, 1958, she was the only child of the late Annie (MacLennan) and Joseph Fougere.
Betty was employed at Harriss and Harriss Contracting for a number of years as housekeeper.
She is survived by her partner Danny Kennedy, Sydney; her cat, Jake, aunt Mary Elizabeth ‘Tootsie’, uncles John and Neilie, nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty is also survived by 4 godchildren, Maggie, Bonnie, Lisa and Kyle.
She was predeceased by her husband Sam MacMillan and by several aunts and uncles.
There will be no visitation for the late Mrs. MacMillan. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Barra Church, Christmas Island. Interment will take place at a later date in the parish cemetery.
