Rings, rings and more rings. Whenever Blair and I would go somewhere, she would ask us to get her a ring. The first one we got her was in New Orleans, LA at an antique shop on Magazine Street. She loved silver and turquoise so we bought her a chunky silver ring with a turquoise dragonfly on it. I love dragonflies and thought it was unique. The next ring was probably a filigree ring from a river store front shop in Savannah, GA. In the five and a half years that I have known her, she got 3 to 5 silver turquoise rings a year from her son, Blair and me. It got to the point that I just saw a ring and bought it because it was her style, big. The bigger the ring the better. I liked the long one that we bought for her last year as it was the biggest turquoise ring we had bought for her that covered the length of her finger. I enjoyed buying rings for her because it gave her pleasure. I still have 2 rings for her that I never got to send. I miss talking to her every week. A part of me is missing. I loved her like a Mom! RIP Ethel. I love you and miss you so much. - Your future daughter in law- Amy
