I am very sorry to read of your mother's death. This brings back a lot of memories from MANY years ago now when I started out at St. Anthony Daniel - all good memories. Your family was always very supportive and active bringing lots of life to the parish and all activities. Your mother (and father) were filled with hospitality and faith. Thank you for the gift they were to so many of us. With Peace and Prayerful best wishes! Fr. Tom

Florence was such a beautiful Lady! She had an amazing recall for events! Her memory or mind never faltered. She told me a story about my Mom, who was 7 years older than Florence, hitching a ride to Sydney from Big Pond with Florence’s Dad while he was driving his gravel truck. My Mom 17 and Florence 10 at the time. Whenever we chatted, which was very often, I would ask about how she was feeling that particular day, asking what was new with her and when that was said and done, she would (with that infectious laugh and smile) say “what’s new?”
I will always hear her voice, see that smile and miss her like crazy!
Until we meet again Florence, I will always love you! Rest In Peace
