Judy and I worked together for many years. She was a good friend and an excellent co-hort at Maritime Life. It was sad to see her in the early stages of her decline but she dealt with it well. I remember visiting her in her little house on Kent St. which she loved. RIP Judy. You will be missed and remembered.

Judy is and always will be a fond memory from our Maritime Life days. Condolences to her family who have much to be proud of. As others have already written, Judy had a positive effect on many people throughout her life. A shining light, as some have said, describes her well.

I knew Jude as a writer and she was a lovely writer and person. I was lucky to read some of her work over the years. Unfortunately she hadn’t got to the publication stage yet. Perhaps her family can find a way to get her work out there. She had a flare for words.

Shawn and family,
We were so saddened to hear of Judy’s passing. We will miss seeing her out and about next summer... she certainly enjoyed her books and her garden.
We are not able to attend the celebration of her life as we have other commitments that weekend but we will be thinking of you all during this difficult time.
