Keegan Joseph Sylliboy, was born at St Rita Hospital Sydney February 18, 1985, and died peacefully on Christmas Day December 25, 2022, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, surrounded by his children, family and friends. He was the son of Jacquline Sylliboy, Charlie Marshall, and Francois Shmouth. He was a member of Eskasoni Holy Family Parish and was devoted to Saint Anne's Mission every year. Keegan was everyone's brother. He was a happy go lucky guy. He was a handyman, wherever he was needed to help. He was also a peace keeper, that's what he called himself. He coached a Ball team for the past few years called, Da Cousins.
This year they called him coach of the year, and he was so proud of himself. He always told everyone "I love you" and loved his children so much. Keegan loved to sing and dance. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh, that could light up the room, and loved to spend time, with his family and friends.
His second Mom was Auntie Juanita Sylliboy, and he always looked up to her.
He is survived by his companion Annie Francis, children; Kerrigan, Andon, Chaselyn, Keegan jij , Keevera, Keedan and Keestan and sister in law Raylene Sylliboy. One grandchild Melody Mae Pauline.
