Leonard ‘Lennie’ John Horne, 39 of Sydney, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Taigh Gradhach, Sydney.

Born in Sydney, he was the son of Leonard Horne, Lower Sackville and Eileen (Kevin) MacKenzie of Lower Sackville.

Lennie was a happy person who shared his warmth with all those who knew him. He loved country music and had a knack for making people smile.

Surviving are his paternal grandparents, Levi and Jenny Horne, Meadows Road, sisters Barbara (Tommy) Meagher, Enfield, NS; Kathleen, Calgary, AB and Laura, Gwangju, South Korea.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents John and Eileen MacIntyre and uncle, Brian MacIntyre.

There will be no visitation for the late Mr. Horne. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 2:30 pm at St. Mary’s Church, East Bay with Rev. Frank Abbass officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
