Margaret Mary-Lee Cooper

After a battle with cancer, Margaret Mary Lee Knockwood-Cooper passed away in London, Ontario on January 17, 2021. Born on July 23, 1957 in Boston, MA, the cherished daughter of Elizabeth Knockwood and the late Isaac Knockwood, Margaret was raised in Eskasoni and later moved to London, Ontario.

Margaret was the beloved wife of Gene Cooper, loving mother of Ivan Knockwood, Eskasoni, Shona and Alicia Stevens of London, ON, and the dear grandmother of Ivan Jr., Josef, Reece, Parker and Nicola Knockwood. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Irene, Jackie, Theresa, Norma and Georgina Knockwood and Diana Pippin, Maryjane Stevens, Joe Paul, Roddy Marble, her only uncle Roddy Knockwood, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her father Ivan, Margaret is predeceased by brother Isaac Joe Knockwood and sister Jean Paul.

Due to current Covid restrictions, visitation is not permitted. A family funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10:30am at Holy Family Church in Eskasoni with Fr. Antolin Asor officiating. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.twcurry.com.
