It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.
Born in Sydney, Marg was the daughter of the late Cecilia Chiasson and Patrick LeBlanc. She was a devoted member of Holy Redeemer parish in Whitney Pier. Her gentle, kind ways and winning smile will be missed by many.
Marg is survived by her daughter Karen (George) Fidgen, Mount Uniacke; daughter-in-law Shirley, Dartmouth, NS; four grandchildren Shirlene and Deanne, both in Dartmouth; Paul (Heather), Quispamsis, NB and Greg, Toronto, ON; two step grandsons, Kevin (Sue) Fidgen, Beaverbank, NS and Jeff (Laura) Fidgen, Sault-St-Marie, ON. Also by great grandchildren Daniel, Grace, Luke, Jenna, Erica, Zachery, Caleb, Cole, Kendall and Julia.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Charles (Curly) Doucette and her son Ken; brother Joe LeBlanc, Louisburg, NS and sisters Hattie Purcell, Mulgrave, NS and Bernadette Moss, Sydney, NS.
There will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday at Holy Redeemer Church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
A very sincere thank you in appreciation to Gloria Musgrave, Kelly Brown and Charlene Ings and all the wonderful caregivers for their loving helpful and gentle care given to Margaret.
