It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilyn Arsenault, 71 of Sydney on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at home with her family by her side.

Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (Nowe) Muller.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart parish and also a member of Mira Road Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Marilyn was a very generous person who, when a need arose, she did her best to try and help.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter Jo-Ann (Max), Sydney; son Jim (Caron), Mississauga, ON; daughter-in-law Ronda; sister Marguerite (Scott) MacKay, Sydney; brother David (Sheila) Muller, BC; sister-in-law Catherine Muller, Sydney; 5 grandsons Joey, Thomas, Tyler, Kyle, Cameron, granddaughter Casssandra and 2 great grandchildren Jayden and Matthew.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2006, son Albert and brothers Ronald and Jimmie.

Visitation for Mrs. Arsenault will take place on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart Church on Monday at 2 pm with Rev. Everett MacDow officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
