It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend, Mary Ellen Hopkins ‘Mali’ nee Gould of the Golden Living Center Wedgemore, Taunton, Mass. USA. Mary Ellen Hopkins, age 86, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the residence in Taunton, Mass.

Born in Eskasoni, she was the daughter of the late Noel and Jessie (Denny) Gould. ‘Mali’ is survived by her younger sister, Mary Jane (Roderick) Gould, Eskasoni; brother, Ronnie (Carolyn) Gould, Elsipogtog, NB; 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Lesley Hopkins, Taunton, Mass.; godchild, Annie Marie (Rannie) Denny, Eskasoni and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by son Noel C. Hopkins, brother, Charles N. and sister, Clara Denny.

She loved the game of bingo and had a deep devotion to St. Anne.

Visitation will take place next week at the Gabriel Center, Eskasoni with the date and time to be announced in a subsequent C.B. Post edition.
