It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, Mary Jane Jeddore, 71 of Eskasoni, Nova Scotia. Mary passed on August 7, 2020 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital after a brief illness with cancer.
She was blessed with a large and loving family and will be greatly missed by her husband of 41 years, Simon, and her four children Peter (Alana) Denny, Francine (Dean) Denny, Noel Jeddore and Paul Jeddore, first and foremost, she was a dedicated mother who treasured and embraced every moment with all her children. Her selfless loving, generous and nurturing character will forever leave a mark on all who knew her. With a heart of gold, she will always be remembered as a proud grandmother, amazing cook and a great woman of faith. Mary Jane especially loved her role as “Mama” to all she cared for over the years. Nieces, nephews and countless others knew Mama as someone who was kind, soft spoken and the type of person who consistently made time for her family. She always enjoyed a game of bingo or cards with family, going for a drive, playing her favourite games or reading books, however her happiest moments were Sunday dinners surrounded by family and holidays celebrated with loved ones.
She took pride in being a grandmother to her grandchildren Deanne (Justin), Dean, Aydon, Josephine, Jenna, Arianna, Mackenzie and Peter. She was also a great grandmother to Emma and Emmett.
Mary Jane was survived by her loving parents Levi and the late Bridget Denny, siblings Mike (Annie) Denny, Rannie (Annie) Denny, Annie Stevens, Kathleen (Tom) Stevens, Levi (Mary E.)
