It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Aline on Feb 14, 2015 at Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
A long-time resident of Sydney, Aline was born at Soldiers Cove the daughter of Mary Jeannette (MacDonald) and William MacKenzie.
Aline was a graduate of Holy Angels Convent High School. She was employed for many years by the provincial government at AVTC in Sydney
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Francis MacKenzie.
She is survived by a sister, Bernice (Anse) MacDonald, New Glasgow and a brother Kevin MacKenzie, Halifax along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, February 19 at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel.
Funeral mass will be celebrated take 2 p.m. Fri. February 20 at St. Theresa's Church, Whitney Ave. Sydney. Fr. Jim Oliver and Fr. Doug Murphy will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Theresa’s Cemetery, Sydney.
