Robert Wayne Gushue, 57 of Sydney, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Whalen) Gushue, Sydney.
He is survived by brothers; Tom (Addie), Raymond and Terry; sisters, Carol (the late James Lahey), Teresa (Joe Gale), Janette (the late Jack Fletcher), Marlene (John Dixon), Kim (Albert Harriet), Brenda (John Aucoin) and Dottie (Andrew MacNeil). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Patrick and David and sisters, Florence Smiley, Linda Colbourne and Debbie Janes.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation. A private family service will take place at a later date.
