A long time resident of Marion Bridge, Sadie was known and loved by many. Her quiet voice and calm and caring nature put all around her at ease.
Sadie’s life was one that focussed on faith, family and helping others. She devoted a great deal of time to the Sacred Heart Church in Marion Bridge and always had time to visit a friend in need.
Sadie’s greatest joy was her family and she was a central figure in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Her happiest times were when family all gathered together; laughing, eating and enjoying the pleasure and happiness that comes with family gatherings.
Sadie loved to reminisce of her days growing up in Woodbine. She was a great story teller, gardener and maker of fudge.
Known simply as, “Gram” to her grandchildren, Sadie was the provider of discipline, wisdom, love and support, in parts of equal measure and her guidance in life will be missed by us all.
