Mary was a dear and gentle soul who showed me what strength in faith looks like in the world and the difference it can make to others. Regardless of how you came to her, her eyes looked at you with compassion and understanding that filled you with the ability to move forward and meet any challenge. A hug from Mary was the solid presence of love. She is deeply missed.

I am saddened and shocked to learn of Mary Elizabeth's passing. Her mom and my Grandmother (Jessie Cash Gillis) were first cousins.Mary was a strong and committed woman. She possessed a true Celtic spirit and gave her all to any work or ministry she began. Mary's commitment to spiritual, physical and emotional health and wholeness was apparent both here in Ontario and in her beloved Cape Breton. She now returns to join her family where I am sure will be welcomed with great joy! For sure there will be no polarities to balance! You will be missed Mary! Rest in deep peace! I knew Mary for many years as a great healer, a wonderful teacher and colleague, and a dear friend.  Mary had a great capacity to awaken the body's natural healing energies in her clients, and she was a passionate advocate for the healing of our precious planet's fragile environment.  With so much gratitude and much love for all she did for so many.

Mary Mac, what will this world be like without you in it?! To her family, my prayers are with you. I had the joy of teaching alongside Mary in Toronto. She was a mentor and a friend. Her gentleness and wisdom touched so many lives. We at the Transformational Arts College are still in shock that our dear friend has left. She was loved and cherished. Even though the rest of us are tired of winter, I hope it's snowing where you are my dear, I know you would truly love that!

I am so thankful to Mary for her wonderful healing gifts.  Mary made such a difference in my life...helping me to heal wounds, guiding me to set healthy boundaries and coaching me towards my life's purpose.  I am honoured to have know such a caring, and beautiful spirit.  I know that her brilliant light shines on!

Mary, I still don't understand it all but I feel blessed that we were connected in the last couple of months.  Thank you for being a great teacher and for your service here in earth.  May your journey be safe.
