It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Stephen Denny Paul passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side. Stephen is predeceased by his parents John Denny Paul and Margaret Paul-Marshall, step father Roderick Marshall, granddaughter Kalolin Maria Paul, stepdaughter Shara Bernard and nephew Buford Gould. Stephen is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife Karen, children Aaron, Christopher (Annie), stepson Elton Bernard (Connie), along with several grandchildren and a numerous godchildren. Stephen has also left behind 4 brothers Wilfred, Alister, Alfred and Basil and 4 sisters Mildred Poulette, Elizabeth Doucette, Bridget (Bobby) Herney and Gloria Paul-MacDonald and numerous nieces and nephews. Stephen loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing enjoying any activity that would get him out into nature. He also worked for many years as a carpenter and later as a security guard. He was an avid Pitsburg Penguins fan. A visitation will take place at 353 Castle Bay Road, Eskasoni starting at 7pm on Saturday, June 27 with a funeral and interment taking place at Holy Family Parish Cemetery on Monday, June 29 at 11:00am with Fr. We were so sorry to hear of Steve’s passing . It was a few years ago we met at the Rink with the boys in hockey. Lots of fun and laughs with both of you at tournaments and games . Karen, our thoughts are with you and the family.

Karen and family I am sorry for your loss. Stephen was always so friendly and nice, and he always had a hug for me. You two were always together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad and difficult time.
