Alvin "Pete" Henry Hay

He is survived by his children, Danny Charles Hay (Tammy) and Lisa Hay Forbus (Brian); his brother, Gary Hay (Bridget); his grandchildren include Ashley Hay Hawthorne (Tony), Kayla Hay Berry (Trey), Carly Bearden (Kyle), Danielle Artrup (Levi), Nathan Hay (Ashley), Dylan Hay, and Shelley Hosey. His great-grandchildren are Evan Murray, Brynlee Hawthorne, Kylie Bearden, Parker Bearden, Presley Berry, Rhett Berry, Nova Hay, Jetson Hay, Jayli Hay, and Hagan Hawthorne.

Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Cherry D. "Betty" Hay, his son, Scott Alan Hay, his grandson, Corey Allen Hosey, his brothers, Howard Hay, Abo Hay, Billy Hay; and his sister, Glenda Kennedy.

Pallbearers for the service will be Kyle Bearden, Nathan Hay, Tony Hawthorne, Brian Hughes, Scott Blankenship, and Dylan Hay. Evan Murray will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, located at 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location in the Chapel at 2:00 pm with Bro. Eddie Forbus and Pastor Tommy Thornton officiating.

The final resting place will be New Site Cemetery in Weogufka.
