Funeral service for Andrew Walker McConatha, age 89, of Sylacauga will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1PM at Marble City Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-1 at the church.
Mr. McConatha passed away December 21, 2017 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Ethel Faye Dean McConatha, parents: Vernon and Carrie McConatha and brother: Vernon W. McConatha.
He attended the University of Alabama and was the owner/operator of Andy’s snackbar at the Sylacauga Hospital now Coosa Valley Medical Center for over 40 years and had a love for dogs and Alabama Football.
Survivors are his sons: Dean McConatha (Sara), Richard McConatha (Jackie), grandchildren: James McConatha, Catherine McConatha and great grandchildren: Samantha Claire McConatha and Ethan Tyler McConatha.
In lieu of flower, donations can be made to Marble City Baptist Church.
