Sylacauga, AL. - Funeral services for Ann Marshall Parker Lott, age 93, will be held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andy Curtis officiating.
Burial will be later that afternoon.
Mrs. Lott was a life-long resident of Sylacauga. She received her education in the Sylacauga schools and Huntingdon College. She was a life-long member of The First United Methodist Church and was an active member of the Hope Sunday School Class. She was a devoted member of United Methodist Women and was a circle leader. She also served on the Church Administration Board, the Board of Trustees and the Staff-Parish Committee. She was a member and past President of the Wise and Otherwise Study Club and Board member of the Sylacauga Historical Society as well as a Bridge Club. She was a Realtor with Byrum Realty Co. for several years and co-owned Larry Parker Furniture with her husband, James Robert Lott.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Robert Lott; sons, James Marshall Lott and Gary Howard Lott; mother, Iola Howard McCardle; father, Larry Parker; sister, Jo Parker McNeill and sister, Jill Parker Gillum. She is survived by her son, Robert L. Lott and wife Patty of Tuscon, Arizona. She also has five grandchildren, Rachel Ann Lott, Robert Alexander Lott, Abigail Parker Lott, Carter Marshall Lott, Zac Lott and one step-granddaughter, Alexis Lott Shivers; and one great grandson, Oliver Marshall Lott; also a brother-in-law, Jack Gillum Sr.; several nieces and nephews; and one special cousin Helen Ann Powell.
A visitation for Ann will be held, Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150.
