Berney "Buddy" Salsman III

Funeral service for Berney “Buddy” Salsman III, age 58, of Harpersville will be Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11AM at the First Assembly of God in Sylacauga with Rev. Charles Lenn and Rev. Ed Wilson officiating. He will lie-in-state at the church from 10-11. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 5-8PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. He was preceded in death by his father: Berney Salsman Jr., mother: Jesse Marie Underwood Salsman, brothers: Ricky Salsman, Mark Salsman, sisters: Rita Marie Salsman and Vicky Ann Salsman. He was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Was a graduate of Central Bible College, youth pastor at Flossmour, IL, Bessemer First Assembly of God, Griffin First Assembly of God, Sylacauga First Assembly of God, Senior Pastor at Thomasville, GA, Sumiton First Assembly of God, Sema, AL, Evergreen, Al and Oxford, AL. Survivors are his wife Becky Salsman, daughters: Erica Lenn Arrington (Charles), Lindsey Beth Johns (Matt), Sara Elizabeth Salsman, Hannah Rebekah Salsman and two grandchildren: Addison and Emalenn. Pallbearers are Matt Johns, Johnny Lenn, Mack Ritch, Charles Arrington, William Bagley and Eric Lenn. Honorary pallbearers will be Colby W., Drew T., John H., Sam C., and Robert B.
