Betty Virginia Craddock Duck, Sylacauga - Funeral service for Betty Virginia Craddock Duck, 87, of Sylacauga, will be Tuesday, June 14, 2011, 10:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with Rev. Tim Childers and Rev. Bill Dean officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Duck passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 at U A B Hospital, in Birmingham. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylacauga. She is survived by her husband, Joe M. Duck Jr. of Sylacauga; daughter, Kim Windsor (Ken) of Sylacagua; Grandchildren, Wes Watkins (Amy) of Sylacauga; Ginger Nix (Jeff) of Chapel Hill, NC; Great Grandchildren, Marlee Watkins, Maggie Watkins, Judah Nix; brother Myron Craddock (Mary Nell) of Sylacauga; sisters, Hilda Saffold (Leonard) of Sylacagua, Sybil Cherry of Maryland; brother-in-law, Bob Duck of Montgomery; preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Waite, Sarah Lowrey; brothers Herman Craddock Jr., Thomas Craddock and Jack Craddock. Pallbearers are Michael Lowery, Ronnie Craddock, Steve Craddock, Perry Andrews, Wes Watkins, Jeff Nix. Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2011 at the North Chapel from 6-8 p.m. The family is accepting flowers, or donations to First Baptist Church of Sylacauga, or your favorite charity.
