Betty L. Landers "Mawmaw"

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Betty L. Landers "Mawmaw", 84, will be Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Chaplain Mark Ledbetter, Rev. Jeff Harris, Bro. Wayne McDaniel, and Rev. Heath Webb officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Landers passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at her residence. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, where she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her church family. Mrs. Landers "Mawmaw" loved cooking for her family and friends, especially for the Sylacauga Police Department. She was known to have fixed treats for the officers every Christmas. Mrs. Landers ran a daycare from her home for more than 15 years where she loved and treated her children like her own, to them she was "Mawmaw". She was a loving mother and grandmother, she will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Landers is survived by her sons, Donnie Landers wife Donna and Ronald Landers wife Debra; grandchildren, Tosha Landers, Phillip Landers, and Amelia Landers; great-grandchildren, Caedon Ballard, Bella Grayce, and Shaddox Green; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Landers, Jay Brooks, Jodie Brooks, Adam Grantham, Matt Abrams, and Keith Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Caedon Ballard, Gary Walton, and the officers of the Sylacauga Police Department.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Pam, Stephanie, and the staff of New Beacon Hospice, the staff of Hubbard Pharmacy, Dr. Ranae Davis, Dr. Aldahar, and their staff.
