Bonnie Sue Atchley

Bonnie Sue Atchley, age 74, passed away March 2nd 2023 at her residence with her best friend, her fur baby, Buddy by her side. She lived in many places but Sylacauga, Alabama was her home for the last 42 years and she was a member of Church of God. She attended Rockford High School and earned a Clerical Technology Degree at Nunnelley State Technical College. She worked as a care giver for the elderly, for about 20 years. Her wish was granted, for her to be donated for medical science study, in hopes she could help with future medical technology. She is survived by 3 daughters, Rhonda Jenkins of London, Ky., Renee Peters of Columbus, Ga., Rita Camarena of Apple Valley, Calif., 2 sons, Jason (Amberli) Brooks of Pell City, Al., and Leslie Cunard of Goodwater, Al., 2 brothers, Bobby (Sheri) Atchley of Pell City, Al., Byron Atchley of Childersburg, Al., 2 sisters, Bennie Vincent of Clanton, Al., Belinda Kathy Davis of Jackson Gap, Al., 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest C. & Jessie Opal Atchley, a Sister, Dianne Britt, and 2 Brothers Bruce Atchley and Billy Atchley. The family would like to especially Thank Susie Wimmer, son Noah Wimmer and Teresa Brooks Maddox for being there in her time of need.
