Brenda McIntire, age 74, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Brenda was born December 1, 1946 to Durthel Bell Honeycutt Ricks and Marshal Jack Ricks. A celebration of life for Brenda will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Brenda is survived by daughter Kimla Smith (Markel); son Sidney Keith McCoy (Eva); siblings Judy Mills, Wade Ricks, Anna Taylor, and June Henderson, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by father Marshal Jack Ricks and mother Durthel Bell Honeycutt Ricks; sisters Janice Kyzer and Melissa Kyzer.
