Ms. Caudle’s family was the heart of her world. She is survived by her daughter, Fran Caudle Vincent, her son in law Tim Vincent, and her three beloved grandchildren, Madisyn Vincent Vawter (John), Kaitlyn Vincent Sutton (Bear)and Luke Vincent (Hannah). She is also survived by two sisters, Rickey Harmon (Mike)and Debbie Pearce (Randy), a beloved sister in law and friend Joy Pate and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Henry Franklin (Frankie) Caudle, Jr., her father William O (Bud) Barnett, her mother Louise Stewart Barnett, sister Jerry Lightsey and sister Patricia Franche.
A graduate of Sylacauga High School, she began her career at The Sylacauga Advance. Ms. Caudle later worked as a medical transcriptionist at Coosa Valley Medical Center, where she spent many years before retiring.
Ms. Caudle believed in the Lord and loved Him, and that faith gives her family comfort now. They find peace in knowing she has gone home to Him and has been reunited with the loved ones who went before her.
During the final chapter of Ms. Caudle’s life, she was surrounded by a second family at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. Her family will forever be grateful to those who cared for her, especially the East Wing. They did far more than meet her needs, they learned her personality, cared about her, laughed with her, and loved her. The kindness and compassion they showed, and the comfort that gave her family, will never be forgotten.
Ms. Caudle leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, family, and love. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, but to those closest to her, she was Grandmother; strong-willed, funny, sometimes sassy, always herself, and deeply loved.
We were blessed to have her, blessed to love her, and we will carry a part of her with us always.
