Carol Joy Smith

Carol was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide and Houston Astros fan. She loved attending all her grandchildren's sporting events.

Carol is survived by her daughter Memorie Menard (David); her son Jeremy Todd Smith (Michelle); and her daughter Deborah Senn (Darrell); her grandchildren Colton Menard, Tristan Reese Smith, Brodie Smith, Jerry Vasquez, Madison Menard, Jacob Wax, Gabrielle Harris, and Alex Honeycutt, her great grandchildren Kylie Harris, C.J. Harris, Kyndall Harris and Kynslee Harris; her brother Robert James Bentley (Annell) and her brother Alfred O'Neal Bentley.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Doyle E. Smith; her parents James Alfred and Margaret Lemainer Bentley; her brother Billy Frank Bentley and her sister-in-law Judy Lowery.

A visitation for Carol will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Gary Bentley will officiate the service.

Serving as pallbearers are Tristan Reese Smith, Brodie Smith, Colton Menard, David Menard, Jacob Wax, Matt Bentley and Brandt Bentley.

Carol will be laid to rest in Marble City Cemetery, 500 West 4th St., Sylacauga, AL 35150.
