Charles Crawford Joiner

Hollins, AL. - Charles Crawford Joiner, age 80, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dollie Joiner; son, Chad Joiner (Dana); two daughters, Marcy Joiner, Mandy Windham (Waylon); two brothers, Rabon Joiner, Donald Joiner (Brenda); sister, Joyce Landers; six grandchildren, Kelly Prince, Brett Smith, Hannah Joiner, Drew Morgan, Seth Joiner, Kinley Windham; and three great-grandchild, London Prince, Halen Prince and Ty Joiner Cobb; a host of nieces and nephews

Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Claudia Goswick; father, Duke Joiner; step-father, Pat Goswick; two brothers, Malcom Joiner, Waymon Joiner; and three sisters, Laura Bradley, Maureen Patterson and Eloise Armstrong.

Charles enjoyed spending time with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a tile setter for 52 years and enjoyed dancing, telling stories, planting and farming his garden and keeping his yard neat. He also loved to enjoy a home cooked meal with his family. Charles was a member of Hollins Church of Christ.

A visitation for Charles will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. A funeral service will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Grice officiating.

Charles will be laid to rest in Hollins Cemetery, Valley Grove Rd, Hollins, AL 35072.

Serving as pallbearers are J. L. Williams, Phillip Gardner, Jody Wain, Brett Smith, Drew Morgan, Seth Joiner, London Prince, Halen Prince and Jimmy Mason. Honorary pallbearers will be London Prince, Halen Prince and Jimmy Mason.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Urology Centers of Alabama, 3485 Independence Drive, Homewood, AL. 35209.
