Charles T. Wallis

Charles Thurman Wallis, of Harpersville, was born June 30, 1935 and went peacefully to be with the Lord on November 25, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maples and Rena Wallis; brothers: Denson and Wayne Wallis; sister, Eloise Wallis; and son in law, Franky Davis. He is survived by his wife, Ola Bell, who was his best friend and true love for 63 years; sons: Brian Wallis (Charlotte) and Roy Wallis (Jacqui); daughter, Jo Davis; brother, Ronald Wallis; grandchildren: Cassie Fields (Bama), Cortney Martin (Cole), Tabitha Vickery, and Trevor Wallis (Shayla); great grandchildren: Addison Fields, Kadence Fields, Emerin Vickery, and Ava Wallis. Funeral services will be held at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11am, with visitation Monday, November 27, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm. Burial will be in Harpersville Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Dr. Donald Morris. Pallbearers will be: Trevor Wallis, Roger Wallis, Danel Wallis, Ben Lee, Cole Martin, and Bama Fields.
