Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Above all, he loved his family and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mavis.
Frank had a special gift for connecting with people. He had a wonderful rapport with his employees and touched the lives of so many young people throughout his life. He was genuinely good with people, and it seemed that everyone who knew him loved him. His family considers it a true blessing that they had the opportunity to love him and share his life.
Music was a very important part of Frank’s life. He always had a song in his heart and loved to sing and dance. He especially loved serving as a church choir director, where he was able to share his love of music and his faith with others.
Frank proudly volunteered to serve his country during the Korean War. His willingness to serve reflected the dedication and generosity that were such an important part of his character.
Frank spent most of his working life in the restaurant business, where his natural ability to work with people helped him form many lasting friendships. He was known for his great sense of humor and his love of laughter.
Frank is survived by his children, Connie Rhodes, Pam Jacobs, Randy Wheeler and Mark Wheeler along with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren, extended family, and many friends who loved him dearly.
Frank touched more lives than he probably ever realized, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
